Man Arrested After Assault

A Colorado Springs man is behind bars after forcing his way into a home and stabbing a man in the arm.

Officers say 27-year-old Joshua Roddie was drunk when his mother asked a friend for help kicking him out of the house. Roddie stabbed the man in the arm with a kitchen knife after forcing his way back inside at around 10 p.m. Friday.

Officers arrested Roddie on suspicion of attempted first degree murder and first degree burglary. The victim was seriously hurt but is expected to be all right.
