Two men are accused of abducting and sexually assaulting a high school student in Walsenburg. Laqun Murphy, 30, and Daniel Willburn, 26, were arrested for the incident which happened Tuesday near John Mall High School.

The high school student was found lying on her back on top of a hill overlooking the football field. According to court documents, she was found with her pants unbuttoned and partially unzipped.

She said she was in pain. She was taken to the hospital where staff found a sharpie in her private parts.

She said the men used the Sharpie to write disparaging words on her face and stomach. Her nose was also broken.

A woman, who was engaged to Murphy, talked to KRDO-TV about her former fianc.

?To me he was always good,? said the woman, who asked to remain anonymous. ?He’s a good-hearted person. I have never known him to be that kind of person, ever. I dated him for almost two years and he was really good to me and my family.? The woman said she knew Willburn too. ?We went to school together,? she said. ?I grew up with him. He’s always been a troublemaker. (He was) always in and out of trouble.? Both men are charged with second-degree kidnapping, sexual assault, assault in the second degree and false imprisonment.

?Those are a lot of charges,? said Murphy?s former fiance. ?I don?t even know what to say. I?m in shock.?

According to court documents the teen said she recalled being hit over the head with her own backpack and being put into a red car. She said the men were in the car and a woman was driving. The female driver was not named in court documents.
