Springs Police Searching For Robber

Colorado Springs Police are looking for a man they say robbed the Safeway on South Murray Boulevard Thursday night.

Police say a man robbed the store pharmacy at gunpoint shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday.

He walked up to the pharmacy counter, lifted his shirt to show a gun and demanded medication, police said.

Police say the man got away with two bottles of narcotics.

Police are looking for a while man, in his 20s. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie with a white emblem or logo on the left breast, light blue jeans and dark glasses. He had short, light colored hair that may have been spiked or crew cut style.
