Bobcat Attacks Family Dog In Pueblo West

A Pueblo West family lost its beloved, dog, Molly, after a bobcat attacked and killed her.

Sharon Swerdfeger said a bobcat attacked and killed her little white dog, Molly.

It happened Sunday when she let her two dogs Molly and her other dog, Sammy, outside.

?There is things here, just because you don?t see them, they?re there roaming around,? said Swerdfeger.

Swerdfeger later found Molly slightly off of a back road. Molly later died at a veterinarian’s office.

?It is like losing a family member. They are one of your own. I?m sure anyone who has owned a pet can identify with what I?m saying,? said Swerdfeger.

Now, she wants to warn other pet owners and parents.

?The other thing that is very scary is, if they are brave enough to come up to small dogs, they may be brave enough to come up to small children,? said Swerdferger.

She said several neighbors have lost their dogs due to bobcat attacks.
