Robbery Suspect Search In Springs

Colorado Springs police are looking for an armed robbery suspect.

Officers say the robbery happened around 10:15 Monday night at the Diamond Shamrock on Jet Wing and E. Fountain Blvd.

Police say the suspect had gotten away with cash before they arrived.

He’s described as a black male, 5′ 6″ tall wearing black pants, black jacket, and a red shirt.

Offiicers tell us the suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, and most likely ran to a waiting vehicle.

An unknown amount of cash was stolen in the robbery and no one was injured.
