6th Grade Student Struck By Car

There was a traffic accident around 7:50 Tuesday morning involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Fountain Blvd and Murray Blvd.

Investigation reveals that a 6th grade student was crossing Fountain Blvd against the light when an eastbound vehicle struck the student.

The student was transported to an area hospital but police say the student does not have life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle driver will not face charges for the accident.
