I-25 SB Is Back Open At Pueblo Blvd

One person was killed and three others were hurt in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 25 near Pueblo Boulevard Friday morning.

Police tell KRDO Newschannel 13 A 61-year-old man who was driving the Nissan Pathfinder was thrown from the car and died.

An adult woman was hurt and taken to Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo.

A 5-year old boy and a 6-year old girl were also thrown from the car in the crash, police said.

The girl was air-lifted to Children’s Hospital in Denver, police said.

The boy was taken to Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo.

The vehicle was headed north on the interstate and State Troopers think the driver fell asleep and over-corrected, troopers said.

The people in the car are from Arizona, troopers said.

The interstate is opened back up just after noon.
