Tip Leads To Arrest Of Attempted Murder Suspect

Falcon Division Police officers were able to track down and arrest a man wanted for Attempted Second Degree Murder on Wednesday.

The suspect, Benjamin Colten, was wanted for four separate warrants for Attempted Murder, a felony menacing case, a marijuana cultivation case, and a failure to appear on a traffic charge. He was also wanted for Homicide in Spokane, Washington.

After receiving a tip about the whereabouts of the suspect, officers spent Wednesday afternoon searching for Colten. At around 7 p.m., Falcon Division officers, with the assistance of a canine, found the suspect near the Legends Golf Club Pub.

Upon arrest, officers found 4.7 grams of suspect marijuana on Colten.
