Victims In Deadly Crash Identified

A Colorado Springs man is dead after a crash along Highway 94 and Antelope Drive.

Colorado State Troopers say 40-year-old Christopher Phillips died on the scene. 19-year-old Shane Phillips was flown to Penrose Hospital with serious injuries. 40-year-ol Deborah Mason suffered minor injuries.

A deadly wreck along Highway 94 near Antelope Drive killed one person Saturday afternoon.

It happened just after 4 pm when a white GMC pickup hit a blue Jaguar sedan head-on according to crash investigators.

The man behind the wheel of the Jaguar died at the scene.

A man inside the truck, now idenfitied as Jeremy Petty of Calhan, suffered minor injuries according to state troopers.

Alcohol and drug use are not considered as contributing factors in this accident.

Highway 94 was closed for three hours due to the crash. It reopened at 7:30 pm.
