Springs Officer Hurt In Fight
A Colorado Springs police officer is recovering after she was injured while trying to break up a fight in a dispute with a cab driver
Police said they were called to the Peak Bowling Lanes on Saturday by a Yellow Cab driver who was having dispute with a man.
Officials said the man pushed Officer Janet Gilliana so hard, she fell backwards and hit her head.
Officer Gilliana suffered cuts to her head and doctors had to staple the gash, according to Colorado Springs police.
People at the bowling alley helped break up the fight.
Dennnis Baca, 31, was arrested and faced charges of assault on a police officer.
