UPDATE: Name Of IHOP Shooter Released

Authorities have released the name of the man who shot five uniformed National Guard members at a Nevada IHOP, killing two of them and another person in a hail of gunfire.

Carson City Sheriff Kenny Furlong says the man was 32-year-old Eduardo Sencion of Carson City. He says Sencion worked at a family business in South Lake Tahoe, was not in the military, and had no known affiliations with anyone inside the restaurant.

Furlong says Sencion arrived at the IHOP Tuesday morning in a minivan registered to his brother. He had a rifle and began shooting in and around the restaurant.

Authorities say Sencion wounded a total of seven people and killed a third person who was not a Guard member.

Furlong says the Sencion then shot himself in the head. He was transported to a Reno hospital, where he died.
