Woman Pinned Under Vehicle Dies

A woman has died after being trapped under a pickup truck in the parking lot at the Noodles and Company near Powers and Barnes in Colorado Springs Friday afternoon.

Firefighters were able to get the truck lifted off the woman. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance where she was pronounced dead.

The woman’s name has not been released. Firefighters said she was already very frail, and on medication that exacerbated bleeding.

Apparently she was run over by her own vehicle, while attempting to disengage the parking brake. Police said they are still investigating the incident.
