Colorado Springs Couple Robbed At Gunpoint

Colorado Springs police said a man and woman were robbed at gunpoint by a masked man late Tuesday night.

The robbery happened shortly before 10 p.m. at the Bristol Square Apartments in the 1500 block of Yuma Street. That’s near Palmer Park Boulevard and North Circle Drive.

According to police, a man and a woman has just pulled into the apartment parking lot when a dark-colored SUV pulled up in front of them.

Police said two of the three people in the SUV got out of the vehicle. One of the men had a gun and ordered the man in the other car onto the ground, police said. That’s when the the robbers took the man’s belongings, police said.

Police said the robbers also ordered the woman out of the car but did not take anything from her.

Police said no one was injured and the robbers fled in their SUV.
