Broncos Win First Preseason Game 24-10 Over the Bills

Kyle Orton, who has rendered the quarterback drama in Denver a question of who will be his backup, led the Broncos on two touchdown drives in a 24-10 victory over the Buffalo Bills on Saturday night.

Brady Quinn leapfrogged Tim Tebow as the No. 2 quarterback for this game and had a mostly solid performance, throwing a touchdown pass but also an interception.

Tebow’s first drive went 6 yards and ended in a sack and his second one ended in a punt.

The game was marred by an injury to Bills running back Johnny White, who was strapped to a body board and carted off the field after his head was driven into the grass on a clean tackle by linebacker Mario Haggan in the third quarter. White was taken to a hospital via ambulance. There was no word on his condition.
