Missouri Murder Suspect Arrested In Buena Vista
Police say a southwest Missouri man who is charged with killing his wife has been arrested in Colorado.
The Cabool Police Department says U.S. marshals arrested 54-year-old Daniel Chapman was arrested Wednesday in Buena Vista, at a home where he had been staying.
Chapman is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 55-year-old Sandra Chapman Aug. 11 at a convenience store the couple owned in Cabool.
Court documents indicate a witness to the Missouri crime told police that he saw the Chapmans inside the store. He said he saw Dan Chapman shoot his wife as she ran toward the door. He then saw Dan Chapman drive away.
