1 Person Arrested After Car Crash

Colorado Springs police arrested 29 year old Christopher Jordan early Wednesday morning after a car crash on South Cedar Street.

According to police, the crash happened shortly after one. Police said the car, driven by Jordan, lost control and because of speed flipped sideways. The car hit two parked cars and a light pole before coming to rest on top of a small SUV, police said.

Jordan was trapped in the car but fire crews were able to get him out of the car within 15 minutes, police said. He was treated for bruises and cuts but is okay, police said.

Witnesses told police a second person ran from the car. Police are still looking for that second person.

Police said the parked cars suffered significant damage.
