James Jarman

James Jarman is a nationally award winning reporter who joined the Newschannel 13 team in September 2010.

He anchors Newschannel 13 at 4pm and 10pm.

Throughout his career he’s won dozens of awards of excellence, including the National Edward R. Murrow award for investigative journalism.

“I’m happy to be at NewsChannel 13,” James said, “The public’s best interest and trust is always at the top of every decision made by NewsChannel 13. We strive to make sure the public’s business is conducted in public. We will always seek truth and accuracy and we will treat all subjects of news stories with dignity, respect, and fairness.”

James is also an archery hunter and fisherman. He’s also been a professional whitewater raft guide on rivers in Washington, Oregon and Colorado.

These days, when he’s not working, he spends most of his time with his beautiful family.
