Grass Fire Burns 90 Acres In Elbert County

Firefighters from at least three departments worked to put out a 90-acre grass fire Tuesday afternoon south of Agate.

There have been no injuries and no buildings were threatened, according the Elbert County Office of Emergency Management.

There we no roads closed, said the OEM.

The fire was 3 miles south of Agate near I-70.
