Man On The Loose After Attemped Break-In
El Paso County deputies are looking for a man involved in an attempted home invasion. Deputies say it happened around midnight on Tailwind drive. That’s on the east side of the Springs near Hancock Expressway and Milton Proby Boulevard.
Deputies say a mother and two kids were home alone when a man with a gun came up to the garage. The woman hit the panic button on the house alarm and closed the garage. The alarm company called the sheriff. Officers thought the man was in the garage for several hours, but it turned out he was not.
