Teenager Arrested In Shooting

A teenager was arrested in Conejos County after an early morning shooting Wednesday.

Sheriff’s deputies said they found a 25-year-old man with a gun shot wound to his chest in a home in Capulin. The man was flown to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs where his is recovering, deputies said.

According to deputies, a 17-year-old man was taken into custody.

Deputies said the 17-year-old is facing charges of 2nd degree attempted murder, 1st degree assault and menacing.

Suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a gun were also found at the home, according to deputies.
