Bear Breaks Into Springs Home

A bear broke into a home in southwest Colorado Springs Wednesday evening.

It happened at 520 Ridgewood Avenue, in the Old Broadmoor Neighborhood.

Colorado Springs Police say the bear got into the house through a window.

Department of Wildlife officers were called in.

The bear was tranquilized and moved to another location.

No pets or people were injured during the incident.
