Crash On Highway 24 In Teller County

The Colorado State Patrol is at the scene of a crash on Highway 24 near Florissant involving a motorcycle.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says the road was blocked for a time, but re-opened before 6 pm.

There were two separate accidents, said State Patrol Trooper Nate Reed.

The first crash involved three vehicles, but no one was injured, said Reed.

The second involved a motorcycle that could not stop for traffic that was slowing down because of the first accident, Reed said. The motorcyclist was taken to the Woodland Park Hospital, said Reed. Reed did not know how seriously the motorcyclist was hurt.
