Bullets Fired Into Unsuspecting Woman’s Apartment

“All I heard was pop, pop, pop, pop, pop,” said Stenetha Hall.

Colorado Springs Police tell KRDO NewsChannel 13 someone was driving around shooting at houses early Tuesday morning.

Halls described the terrifying moments. “My heart went beating,” she said. The woman’s apartment building was hit several times by bullets, one getting lodged in her washing machine.

It happened in the Deerfield Hills neighborhood, in the area of Springnite Drive and Deerfield Hills Road. That’s near Drennan Road and S. Academy Boulevard.

Police say officers received multiple calls of shots being fired in the area.

When officers arrived, they found one home that had been hit by numerous bullets in the 3400 block of Cochran Drive. Police say they also found another house that had been hit by a single bullet in the 3300 block of Springnite Drive.

No one was hurt.

Police say they have no suspect information right now.
