El Paso County Motor Vehicle Office Buglarized

Someone broke into a motor vehicle office of the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office and got away with money.

The motor vehicle office of the El Paso County Clerk & Recorder?s Office branch at the Union Town Center was vandalized and burglarized over the weekend, according to a news release from the County Clerk’s Office.

According to the release, a glass window was broken by an individual who then entered the premises and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

No personal information was removed from the premises, said the County Clerk’s Office.

The Clerk & Recorder and El Paso County Security are working with the Colorado Springs Police Department to locate the individual, said an office spokesperson.

If you have any information on the break-in you are asked to contact the Colorado Springs Police Department at 444-7000, said the Clerk’s Office.
