2 From Pueblo, 2 From Springs Involved In Deadly Wyoming Crash
A man from Iowa was killed in a crash in Wyoming when his motorcycle collided with a camper with a group of people from Pueblo and Colorado Springs.
The crash happened on U.S. Highway 85 50 miles north of the town of Lusk, Wyoming around 2:30 Friday, according to the Wyoming State Patrol.
Killed in the crash was Jefferson Adams, 46, of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, said the Wyoming State Patrol.
The crash happened when the driver of a pick up truck pulling a 28-foot camper slowed to make a left turn and Adams attempted to pass on the left as the vehicle was making its turn, said the state patrol.
The pick up truck turning left was driven by Damon L. Hand, 27 of Colorado Springs, said the state patrol.
Nicholas Meyers, 40 of Pueblo, Danielle Meyers, 28 of Pueblo and Teffany Ervin, 22 of Colorado Springs were all passengers in the vehicle, said the state patrol
No one in the vehicle was hurt in the crash.
There is no word on whether any charges are pending.
