Pueblo Packed With Ponies
The Colorado State Fairgrounds in Pueblo is packed with ponies. The National Little Britches Rodeo kicked off today.
Young cowboys and cowgirls from all over the country are staying in Pueblo for the finals. There are about 800 competitors this year. Pueblo is even giving the out-of-towners special discounts to several attractions. It?s to push more of you to explore the city.
For one little cowgirl, her favorite part of it is to compete with her horses.
?Just something about them makes me want to be around them all the time. It just makes me feel really good,? said Sydney Blevines, 11.
The event continues until Saturday. That?s when they will decide who the best young riders are.
