Pueblo Makes Top 100
The people of Pueblo are loving their hometown. In fact, according to a new study by RelocateAmerica, its one of the best places to live.
“The river walk, the state fair, I just really like Pueblo,? said Stephanie Parkhurst.
RelocateAmerica puts Pueblo in the top 100 communities. Everything from education, quality of life and employment are looked at to determine the top place to live. Now, they?re looking to narrow it down to the top 10.
?I think it should have been placed in the top 10,? said Pueblo Resident Mike Garcia.
Garcia was raised in Pueblo and said he wouldn?t go anywhere else.
?Look at all the other communities and they are just so expensive to live in,? said Garcia.
There were some who were surprised Pueblo made the list. They did not want to speak on camera.
Stephanie Parkhurst understands why others may not be fans of the Steel City.
?There is crime. We have different things, your bad part of towns, but that’s everywhere,? said Parkhurst.
None of that bothers Garcia.
?I just don’t think they know that much about Pueblo. Pueblo was stereotyped as a mill town for so many years and it has diversified so much in the past twenty years,? said Garcia.
