Liquor Store Robbed At Gunpoint

Colorado Springs police are searching for a man who robbed a liquor store at gunpoint Sunday.

Police said the robber walked into the Lots A’ Liquor and Tobacco store in downtown Colorado Springs just after 12 p.m. Sunday.

Officials said he made a small purchase and the showed the clerk a handgun and demanded money. The clerk handed him a undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber fled on foot. Police said they searched the area, but were unable to find him.

The robber is described as a black man, about 6 feet 4 inches tall, with a thin build and in his late 30’s to early 40’s in age. Police said he was armed with a dark colored semi-automatic handgun.
