Navajo Fire Contained
The Navajo Fire in Teller County is 100% contained.
Evacuated residents of the Navajo Mountain Mesa Subdivision will be allowed to go home at 9 p.m. Friday night.
Returning evacuees are asked to stay off the streets as much as possible, and to stay out of the burn area.
The Bear Trap Subdivision is no longer on standby to evacuate.
Firefighters say favorable weather conditions allowed them to make good progress fighting the fire Friday.
