Store Clerk Assaulted, Man Arrested

A store clerk at the 7-11 on South Nevada Avenue was assaulted Saturday, Colorado Springs police said.

Police arrested Dumisia Hockaday in connection with the alleged assault.

According to police, the clerk refused service to Hockaday, who is known to have stolen from the store in the past.

Hockaday got angry and assaulted the clerk, police said.

The clerk was injured but is expected to be alright, police said.
