Dist. 11 Accepting School Bus Driver Applications
School District 11 said they are now accepting applications for school bus drivers.
The district said these are school year only positions, meaning no weekends, evenings and you get summer and the holidays off.
Entry level salary is $11.33/hour, the district said.
If you can’t drive a bus, the district will train and help you obtain a commercial driver’s license. Training of new drivers begins in July to be ready to start the new school year in August.
You must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, valid license and a clean driving record, the district said.
