Drop-Off Your Old, Expired Drugs For Free
As part of a nationwide event, you can drop-off your expired drugs for free at various locations across southern Colorado on Saturday.
The event lasts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at three locations: the Police Operations Center at 705 S. Nevada Avenue in Colorado Springs, Security Fire Station No. 1 at 400 Security Blvd. in Security and 3255 Akers Drive at the El Paso County County Dept. of Transportation.
Tablets, capsules and all other solid dosage units can be dropped off.
Intravenous solutions, injectables, syringes and illicit narcotics are not accepted as part of the program, the city said.
