Vote Counting Resumes After Being Halted

The city clerk’s office said they are picking up where they left off Tuesday night, tabulating more than 10,000 votes left uncounted.

Some ballots will require signature verification from the clerk and recorder’s office, a release said.

Unofficial results are expected sometime Wednesday afternoon.

The city clerk decided to send staff home around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in order to “keep them sharp,” despite having thousands of votes left to be counted.
