Colo. Springs Election Goes Off Without Hitch
Colorado Springs City Clerk Kathryn Young said Tuesday’s election has gone as well as she had hoped. Young told KRDO Tuesday’s weather helped with voters returning their ballots before the 7 p.m. deadline.
An observer from the Secretary of State’s office was sent to observe the election in Colorado Springs Tuesday. He said he is “very impressed” at how well everything is going, adding its exceeding expectations and regulations for the state.
As of 8 p.m., Young said there are more than 6,000 undeliverable ballots. But, she added, that’s not unexpected for an election.
