3 Arrests Made In El Ranchito Murder

Police have made three arrests in the murder of Esteban Garcia outside the El Ranchito restaurant on April 25th. Cynthia Casado-Balestier, 31, and Miquel Ortiz Marin, 25, have been arrested on first-degree murder charges. Ana Tinajero, 31, was arrested on a charge of accessory to murder, said CSPD Sgt. Steve Noblitt.

62-year-old Garca, an employee of El Ranchito, was shot and killed in the restaurant’s parking lot in what police are calling a targeted attack in an attempted robbery.

Police found Garca with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot at 3970 Airport Rd. around 10:20 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries.
