Three-Vehicle Crash Kills Woman

COLORADO SPRINGS – A woman was killed in a three-vehicle accident on west Fillmore Street Tuesday afternoon.

Colorado Springs Police say the accident in the 1400 block of west Fillmore involved three cars. When rescue crews arrived a woman was trapped in one of the cars. While crews were working to get her out of the vehicle she died. No one else was hurt in the crash.

The police departments’s Major Accident Unit is investigation the cause of the crash.

The name of the victim has not been released.
