Police Search For Stabbing Suspect
COLORADO SPRINGS — Police are search for a man who they say stabbed someone outside a home in Briargate.
It happened on Brigantine Drive just after 11PM Saturday night.
The victim told police that someone had come up to him and demanded money. Police say he was then stabbed in the stomach with a small pocket knife. Police say the victims injuries are minor. He was not taken to the hospital and was expected to recover.
The suspect fled the scene on foot. Police searched the area for the suspect but did not find anyone.
They suspected is described as a White or Hispanic man, in his early 20’s, with black hair. He was wearing a brown/red colored shirt and blue jeans.
