Republicans And Democrats Hold El Paso County Assemblies

COLORADO SPRINGS – Candidates for the primary ballot in August will be decided Saturday.

El Paso County Republicans are holding their assemblies at the New Events Center at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs.

District assemblies start at 8 a.m. with the full county assembly at 10 a.m.

El Paso County Democrats are also holding their assembly Saturday at Palmer High School.

Candidates for county offices will be designated as well as delegates to several district and state assemblies.

Protesters were outside Palmer High School around 8 a.m. Saturday. The Colorado African Americans for Justice are demanding accountability from Democrats.
