Man Chases Burglar, Fires Shots, Then Gets Arrested

COLORADO SPRINGS – Police arrested 26-year-old William Calo Friday night for firing gunshots in front of his home.

Police say Calo heard someone in his garage in the 300 block of Audobon Drive. Calo looked outside and saw an alleged burglar running away from his home.

Calo says he saw the burglar drive away in a silver car. Then, when he saw the burglar drive past a second time, he started firing shots.

The alleged carjacker has not been caught.
