Three Suspects Wanted For Two Burglaries

PUEBLO COUNTY — Three suspects are on the run after breaking into two convenient stores in Eastern Pueblo County.

The burglaries happened in the early hours of Thursday morning. The Sheriff’s Office says the burglars knew what they were looking for and took only those items. In each store only cigarettes and lighters were taken.

The first break-in happened around 12:30 a.m. at the Loaf-n-Jug at 36031 Highway 50 E. The second was at 3:10 a.m. at the Acorn Store at 108 Baxter. In both burglaries, the windows were broken out using rocks.

Surveillance recordings in both burglaries show the three suspects dressed in all black with one suspect carrying a white bag. The total amount of damage and stolen items totaled $4,500 for both burglaries.

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in arresting the suspects. If you have any information call the Sheriff’s Office at (719) 583-6250 or CrimeStoppers at (719) 542-STOP.
