KRDO Newschannel 13 Wins 4 RTNDA Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards

KRDO, Newschannel 13, was awarded 4 Radio Television Digital News Association Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards.

The awards came in the categories of Investigative Reporting, Feature Reporting, Documentary and Writing.

Tak Landrock won the Investigative Reporting Award for his investigation into Ted Haggard. Vida Urbonas won in the categories of Documentary for her special on Ted Haggard and his return to the pulpit and for Writing.

Photographer Isaac Blancas won in the category of Feature Reporting for his story about a woman’s crusade to get people not to drive and talk on their cell phone.

All 4 entries are now entered in the National Edward R. Murrow Award contest that happens later this year.
