Chapel Hills Mall Bomb Threat

COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs police responded to a reported bomb threat at the Chapel Hills Mall.

Police say the threat was non-specific as to the location of the bomb.

Officers, K-9 units, and mall security search the common areas of the mall and found nothing.

Chapel Hills Mall was not evacuated, at the request of the mall’s general manager.

The suspected caller is described as a Hispanic male, 16-20 years old, about 130 pounds, with dark hair.

He was last seen wearing a tan baseball cap, light green hooded jacket, and black jeans.
