Olympic Skier Lindsey Vonn Welcomed Back To Vail

VAIL, Colo. (AP) – Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn is getting a homecoming celebration from one of her sponsors.

Vail Resorts Inc. was hosting the celebration Wednesday afternoon, with giveaways for her fans.

Vonn won a third consecutive World Cup overall title this season, plus a downhill gold medal and super-G bronze at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Vail Mountain plans to recognize other Winter Olympics athletes from Vail including skier Sarah Schleper, Canadian Olympic team skier Chris Del Bosco, and Paralympian skier Ralph Green on April 17.
