Care And Share Gets ‘Egg-Extraordinary’ Donation

COLORADO SPRINGS – Care and Share, Southern Colorado’s food bank, has been given a donation of 43,000 eggs.

The eggs come from MoArk LLC, in an effort to help feed area residents in need. “Helping neighboring families in need is of the utmost importance to our industry,” said Craig Willardson, president of MoArk LLC, in a press release. Willardson says the company is proud to offer its support.

President and CEO of Care and Share Deborah Tuck is thankful for the donation. “Fresh eggs are rich sources of protein and are highly nutritious staples,” said Tuck.

This is the third year in a row the United Egg Producers and Feeding America have teamed up to fight hunger by contributing eggs to food banks across the country.
