Holly Marks 3 Years Since Deadly Tornado
HOLLY – Sunday was the three year anniversary of the massive tornado that tore through Holly, killing 2 people.
The EF-3 tornado touched down in the Southeastern Colorado town on the evening of March 28, 2007. The mile wide tornado leveled 43 homes and damaged 130 others.
28 year old Rosemary Rosales was killed the night of the tornado, when her house took a direct hit. The tornado blew Rosales out of her home and into a tree. 76 year old Deloris Burns also died of injuries suffered in the storm.
