Officer Hurt, Woman Tased & Arrested

COLORADO SPRINGS – A police officer was injured while trying to make an arrest. It happened Saturday afternoon in the 400 block of E. Cheyenne Mountain Blvd.

It all started when police were called to a disturbance involving 4 people. 23-year-old Kendra Moore had allegedly assaulted one of the individuals.

Police tried to arrest her. She resisted and started getting combative. Police had to tase her and she was eventually taken into custody.

Moore is charged with 3rd degree assault and resisting arrest.

One of the officers suffered minor injuries. He drove himself to Memorial Hospital.
