Lewis Palmer Senior Killed In Crash

COLORADO SPRINGS – A 19-year-old senior at Lewis-Palmer High school was killed in a crash Saturday when the vehicle he was riding in rolled near Eagle, Colorado.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, Levi Patrick, a running back for the Lewis-Palmer football team died at the scene of the crash. Three other members of the team 17-year-old Nathaniel Matteson, 18-year-old Chase Yeagerand 18-year-old Jefferson Oakey were taken to the hospital. Matteson is in serious condition at the hospital.

The group of teens were driving east on I-70 around 2:40p.m., when their Jeep lost control and went off the right side of the road. The Jeep hit a fence and rolled. Three of the teens were thrown from the vehicle.

CSP is still investigating.
