Douglas Bruce Files Lawsuit Against Governor Bill Ritter
DENVER – Anti-tax crusader Doug Bruce is suing Gov. Bill Ritter and state lawmakers. He claims they stole $200 million from a TABOR reserve fund.
Colorado Springs Sen. John Morse (D) says lawmakers are doing their best to make government work despite the Taxpayer Bill of Rights.
Springs Rep. Kent Lambert (R) says the use of funds is a clear violation.
The state has 20 days to file a reply to Bruce’s lawsuit.
