One Person Dead After Rollover Accident
COLORADO SPRINGS – One person was killed and two other injured in a one car accident Thursday night.
The accident happened near the intersection of Tutt Blvd. and Stetson Hills Blvd. just before eight at night. Police say the car rolled and was facing southbound in the eastbound lanes of Stetson Hills Blvd. when it came to a stop.
The driver and one passenger were wearing their seatbelt and remained in the car. Another passenger was ejected and died at the scene. The two others were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The intersection was closed for more than five hours while police investigated the crash. They say speed andalcohol do appear to be a factor.
The name of the victims have not been released.
