Springs Man Accused Of Kidnapping

COLORADO SPRINGS — Police arrest a man accused of kidnapping a woman outside the EZ Pawn shop on N. Murray Blvd.

Police arrested 3-year old Nicholas Quartaro Wednesday. Police found him at the Village Inn on N. Carefree. They say he had a stolen firearm in his car.

The kidnapping happened on Monday. A witness reported seeing a man hit a woman and force her into his car. The witness wrote down the license plate of the car and gave it to police. Officials say the victim is alive and well.

Quartaro faces several charges including Kidnapping, Felony Menacing, Third Degree Assault and Theft. Officials say they are still investigating.
